In case you were wondering where we've been for the past several weeks, so would I!!! It seems like summer just got here and we're already getting ready for school again.
Last week the girls both went to camp . . . Rachel went to the YMCA Camp Crosley (on the other end of our lake) and Sarah went to church camp at Camp Adventure just south of Webster Lake. It is really amazing that we have such incredible camps so close to home.
As you can imagine, it was VERY quiet around the house last week, but the girls made up for it quickly and shared many wonderful tales from camp.
We celebrated their homecoming with their favorite meal . . . Poppyseed Chicken!

I wish I could post a photo of Steve and I sitting on the end of the pier watching the sunset, but even though the girls were gone, the evenings still slipped away from us --- just like the rest of the summer.
Only 26 more days to the Clay concert in Fort Wayne. . . 23 more days till the Minnesota concert! Summer can move as fast as it wants!
Carol, Well thank God I am behind the times...He is just a little too fruity and stalkerish (fly on a wall???? - weird) for my tastes. Give me some Hank, Aerosmith, Buffett, Rush Limbaugh, and Hannity on my radio...I will be A-Okay.
But of course everyone has their opinions. Which can probably explain the numerous articles on Clay. I can find ya a lot of articles about all sorts of stuff - and most of them will be way out there. Enough said.
Who's the King? King of... England? Jordan? Morroco? Saudi Arabia? King of Pop - Heck if he wants to be as big as Michael Jackson, let him...there is a freak and a half.
I like fruit. . . but he's not. . . I think today's term is metrosexual. . .somwhere between fruit and macho stud. . . and I agree about the stalker thing. . . but it's just a song and a really up beat fun one at that. . . the crowd goes crazy in the concerts when he gets to that one!
And oh, by the way. . . who had the largest selling single of 2003? I'll give you a hint. . . it's the same person who to date has the largest selling single of 2004!

Read pages 1 and 2 - you'll kind of have to search for the pieces of the story, and then you'll know why I love Clay! If the above link doesn't work, go here and find John's story.
