'Tis the Season

Last week Steve celebrated his two-year anniversary as CEO at the Y and finally received his new triathlon bike, a Cervelo PC2. (Click to see)

Rachel was the leading scorer in her basketball season-opener . . . the game ended in a tie: 2 to 2.

Sarah also played strong and scored 7 points in her winning basketball game last week and was so excited when she got called to sub in the varsity game that she almost forgot to spit out her gum. As she started to run out onto the floor, she remembered . . . . . and sent it relaying down the bench from teammate to teammate until someone finally decided to throw it away.

"Tis the season of snow, sports, sharing . . . . . and insanity.

Oh, that reminds me --- I better get started on my Christmas shopping!

These girls are fun to watch!!! We're so glad we're able to!!!

Sarah can play basketball and chew gum at the same time can't she? Maybe she can start a new tradition on the team....

Great job on the card Rachel! ; - 0 )

Nice to hear the young ladies are in such a great sport!!! Basketball was always my fav - especially over that icky wrestling stuff!!!
I knew Steve when he was about your age - a few years back;) Which reminds me of my main purpose in getting back to your page - class of 1977 reunion is set for 7/28/07 - 2 - 6 pm at the park behind the library in St Francis! Mark the calendar for the trip home Steve!!! See you then....P.S. The potato dumplings look very much like our Krubs. We make them with 1/2 mashed, cooked potatoes and 1/2 ground, raw potatoes mixed with flour. The best part is the inside - seasoned salt pork!!!! Do your have anything in the middle? Cute website - enjoy the season - Merry CHRISTmas...see you in July!!
